O' People! Steer clear through the waves of mischief by boats of deliverance, turn away from the path of dissension and put off the crowns of pride. On Mining and Prayers for Miners
While watching one of the prolonged segments concerning this weeks disaster: Utah Miners Buried....I heard yet another broadcaster tell a family "spokesperson" that "our prayers are with you" and I had to wonder...
Really? Do each and every one of those newscasters actually go and "pray" for the "victims" of such things? And what exactly are those things? Who exactly are the "victims"?
Not to be critical or profit from those that are awaiting word about a person buried in a mine, a snow cave or a child whose blood has been found in a hotel room from where she was abducted. But to focus in on that idea that death comes to us all and why is one death more important than another? Well obviously..it is big business i.e. "The News". It gets viewers, it distracts people from their own death more or less and it is "exciting". Not to miners no doubt and perhaps I'll find and post that old soggy poem called "In the Mines of Mexico, They Weep". Because all miners and miner families know exactly what this is about. It is about their worst fear and that fear would be: dying in a mine collapse.
My very own miner father demanded that when he died he should be cremated and not BURIED. Not even in death does a miner want to be buried...it is THAT bad. All the same...it is just death and I must wonder....why is it we do not wait with our breaths held for every single death as it approaches? I must wonder at how many people actually cry over someone else's death and realize in a very serious way that their own death is FAR more important than anyone else's. It's always been that way you know because a miner is really buried and might experience that thing called "the agony of the grave" that some of us Shia know all about.
Back to the point however. How on earth do people on the TV get away with saying such things as "our prayers" are with you. I have a feeling that most of them don't pray, don't know how to pray and do it about as often as they clean up their sheds out back. Once a week if you are conscientious and maybe once a month if you are the guilty type; and once a year if you only hope to find something lost and suspect it might be there and never if you are really messy, disorganized and have better things to think about and always have, always will. Those usually end up on Oprah and two British ladies go in and muck them out.
Muck of course.....is a mining term.
My prayers haven't been "with" anyone in particular except a girl I met in the ER the other day. She truly affected me and I've actually prayed for her twice specifically. I had good reason to. She was a miracle to me and I pray that I was a miracle to her.

and the firemen on top of the dumps
who begin and end the show
in a wave of lanterns.
How we crave that signal
up there on those mountains of slag
thinking, as ours do, of the breath
of canaries and candles deep in those old holes.
A persistent and unheard whimper
fills space on this weary-
happy picnic in July or maybe
it only fills the weariness with something else.
I clasp a child tight in my arms,
a finger closes the tender wound:
hush hush, our waiting begins, we settle down.
Our Fourth of July is in sweet-tortuous ruin
flung aside into a bin of appetites lost.
We've run from one excitement to another
thankful for a gentle sun, there was no burning
and there will be few scars if any.
The miles between this and that
contract like stars in heaven where
light reaches us much too late
and we as well, get there accordingly.
This is the anniversary of all
that's happened here -
for each body on this ragged quilt,
each poor soul and dumbstruck
face tipped up toward the sky.
The silence between one person and the next
is only the truth where commentary has failed.
I look around me one last time
before the sun takes all the light away -
count the faces I own, erase what's left.
It is a small town thing on such occasions.
The darkness is complete
when the fireworks begin.
My daughter tells me
during one of the beautiful

The Quran and the "Law"

A return to the days of Scopes versus the Book(s).
Now....I'm not sure whether I'd be a better lawyer for the defense or the DA on this one.
I'm thinking I'd be a good lawyer for the DA but unfortunately, the US justice system has not just yet figured out that all humans are subject to the law of the Creator and that the laws of the US justice system are based on the law of the Creator via Moses (SA) and are called "Mosaic Laws" and the "Noahide" (from the old prophet Noah as in the "ark")....otherwise we could rape, plunder and murder because there is no evidence really that any of these things is actually against the "law" or morally wrong just because a few people 'sense' these things aren't right....because the "law" was taught to human beings a very long time ago (WE did not invent such things NOR would we)...over and over and over. And humans did, as humans do....exile themselves from such Creator dictated laws because it benefits them materially to do so and always has. It does not of course actually benefit anyone except a selfish few and even then..those "selfish few" apparently are completely unaware that the material benefits of such disregard for the law are limited only to this life and not the hereafter. In the hereafter they lose completely.
The "law" is such that it is manifested to each and every human being whether they like it or not and whether or not they are "unwilling" or "willing" adherents to the "law".
What gets me is that "people" i.e. non muslims believe that Islam invented such things as wife slapping, money laundering, lying and capital punishment (to mention a few examples of human endeavors) simply because it ADMINISTERS and DESCRIBES these things.
Those things exist whether or not the Quran mentions them. And many things the Quran does not mention. The Quran is simply a guide and a good guide it is...on how to avoid getting into the various pickles we get into as a human race. The kinds of pickles which end up with a Peruvian sex offender on bail executing a handful of law abiding college students:
Apparently, the lawyers have misguided and abused the law in order to make money (*and some other perks) and have allowed folks like OJ Simpson to commit "honor killings" and get off scott free. Like this Peruvian fellow that we are hearing about just about now who was allowed to go scott free into the world and execute innocent human beings because of a "judge" (read: lawyer) who is not only confused but needs to be involuntarily committed to a mental institution on grounds of insanity for releasing this monster into society to commit more atrocities.

The "key" to understanding "war" is to know that wars are not always fought with weapons and those that are fought with weapons seldom prove fruitful. It is the wars that are fought without them via resistance (which resort only to self defensive actions) that generally achieve long lasting success. The only occupation that has ever really proven successful is the White Man's occupation of North America and we can see that due to both legal and illegal immigration...that is not actually a "done deal".

I have little doubt that Dick spent as many hours and days hacking it down to size and shape as he said he did. Dick rides a fantastic multi-trick pony into the skies on this one and finalizes it with a hearty Mufasa at the end where all great works of literature must aim their arrows in order to shoot their prize.

Why was the destruction of the Shi'i
mosque at Samarra* so important?
The history of Sunni Islam is actually the history of the oppression of the Shia, their martyrdoms and burial places. Places like Saudi Arabia to this day do not allow anyone to have a marker or headstone on a grave. This is related to the fact that they simply do not want anyone to know what it is that they did to the earliest followers of the Sunnah of the prophet Mohamed (SA) who are known as Shi'i. I actually lived just down the road from a Saudi graveyard and the people there used to stack rocks on top of the graves hoping against hope to be able to one day come back and be able to recognize where their baby or granny was buried. He then addressed the men of Bani Asad saying, "On the tenth of this month you will see our dead bodies lying on this plain with our heads severed and taken away. Please bury us, and when our devotees come to visit our graves, treat them with honour and point out to them the places of our burial." He then turned to the women of the tribe and said, "O virtuous ladies! If your husbands, fearing Yazid, do not bury us, then please encourage them to do so or do it yourselves." Finally, he turned to the children of Bani Asad and said, "O innocent ones! If your parents, out of fear of the ruler, do not bury us then, by way of playing, bring some earth and throw it on our bodies to hide them." This heartrending appeal of Imam Husain (A) made all the listeners weep. "

The history of Sunni Islam is actually the history of the oppression of the Shia, their martyrdoms and burial places. Places like Saudi Arabia to this day do not allow anyone to have a marker or headstone on a grave. This is related to the fact that they simply do not want anyone to know what it is that they did to the earliest followers of the Sunnah of the prophet Mohamed (SA) who are known as Shi'i. I actually lived just down the road from a Saudi graveyard and the people there used to stack rocks on top of the graves hoping against hope to be able to one day come back and be able to recognize where their baby or granny was buried. It is truly unfair and all due to an oppression that seeks to hide the past from us all, their past. Behavioral Research,
the West and Islam
Whilst out and about garnering information to consolidate some ideas I've been having about the problems associated with the heretofore practice of Western Behavioral research studies being skewed and based on non muslim people and therefore, based on faulty logic (expecially the Freudian nonsenses)...I happened into this great little blog entry about Muslim kids being sent to the King David school in the UK. Imagine my delight at such a find!
"Muslim parents are pleased that ‘all the kids mix and go to one another's parties and are in and out of each other's houses’. The Jewish parents and teachers too are just as enthusiastic: “You know, in these difficult times in the world, I think we show how things should be done. It's really a bit of a beacon," says one teacher, whose three children all went to King David and ended up at Oxford University. One Jewish parent commented: "My son is eight and has loads of Muslim friends." And perhaps most important of all is that some of the cross-cultural friendships forged at King David last a lifetime."

One of the other things I was meaning to look into but as is the case of skewed analysis in the world being based on NON SUBMITTING muslims (everyone included in that regardless of their sect/nonsect)..but that kind of research is hard to find...I was hoping to show the notion of little people not knowing how to get dressed!
Yes. You bet. KIDS.....believe it or not...do not know how to pick their own clothing!
So...we adult animals do it for them. It's our job. Adult muslim animals do it their way and their way seems to really anger non submitting muslims (the entire population of humanity who is the group of NON submission by default, choice or hatred of Islam and the Messenger).
Unfortunately...submitting muslims have not been studied and due to the invasion of Western values, media and failure to submit to any religion let alone Islam..that kind of information is highly unavailabe and usually studies are marked by an inability to properly isolate variables and one of the new variables is the admixture of Western hypocrisy, capitalism and greed which tends to rip the Islam right out of a soul....and it rips the validity right out of a study done in a primarily submitting Islamic country like Saudi Arabia, Iran or Indonesia where studies like that need to be done in order to determine if Islam really does prevent certain types of things.
Therefore...when muslim parents choose to teach their young girls to cover their hair...they are only teaching them how to dress.
No more and no less. It is no different than the non submitting muslims in the world who teach their young ladies to wear miniskirts and tube tops and their boys to wear ties.
Yikes. It is as simple as that.

I have been writing poems
all my life but this one
just won't get out.
It follows me everywhere
and fills my gut
with sea sickness.

this poem is that it

BEIRUT ASSASSIN LEAVES MARK
The cocks were storm-crowing that morning
after a real long spell of total
environmental darkness. Two broughams sped by.
(In the land of the prophets
the angels talk out-loud,
people pretend not to notice.
Here it is the status quo.)
All the clocks whirred with quick sighs.
At sunset the clouds were full of the dust.
On the sand hundreds of lovers were kissing
out in the open. Everyone was buying
flowers and the coffee carts were brimming
with hot fluids and stale remedies to the skies.
Then everything just stopped. Windows fell
apart and people ran home, started looking.
Zoom in, zoom out, zoom in, zoom out.
I felt around for my watch to note the time.
School was letting out and I compared JFK,
that unholy day to this one. Must have been similar.
Shapely forms felt their way toward the horizons
and the same herd of goats crossed my path twice.
No more luck, no more money, no more beadsmen.
The predictions are always keen to usurp everyone
and the last unlucky man born will tremble
near a pitcher of water and a set of lost keys.
This benediction quieted all the kinfolk
and the rich slept closer to their quarters
but it does take some time, perhaps forever.
The poor remain indifferent.
One man was found two weeks later in the rubble,
pointing in one direction, holding his cell.
No one called out the dogs because it is said
the canines ate the corpses in Sabra and Shatilla.
I wonder.. to whom was he speaking,
where was he pointing?
..well of course...he was pointing to the US/Zionist war machine and that was a missile strike not a car bomb in case you didn't notice.

Dear Redacted
We are home as of 1 am July 24. EXACTLY one year after we arrived..to the day...from our terrible war adventure.
It was a long hard trip (redacted). Good and bad...mostly closure of some things. Letting go of the ideal of "expatriatism" for now. It has been my central motivation and I realize now that I must move forward and I must move in this direction and at this pace.
What to do. The Middle East is a downright catastrophe and as well, it is the will of the Lord. I know that but it doesn't necessarily make it any easier to watch from these plush and verdant sidelines in Bisbee AZ.
More to be revealed...I hope you are well and up to your usual practices of working hard. I've got so much to do in the next few weeks in order to get my middle one Sarah booked into a decent university. She was accepted at both the U of A and NAU so that is all fine and good. The U of A did pull a nasty trick on us though and asked for a domicile affidavit since they must have had dark suspicions about her citizenship. When I got the lady on the phone of course...she heard my voice and my double yas were typically Arizonianisms and she got Sarah accepted within minutes. Imagine that! Only moments before she was told that her file was under review and she wouldn't have an answer for at least two weeks. Huh? I told Sarah to get back on the phone and we'll speak to someone who understands what it means to request priveledged information prior to having the authority to do so (domicile statements). It's amazing what a True Blue Double Ya will get you nowdays at our lovely public universities like the University of Arizona which is actually a private institution but the bigots there just don't tell the taxpayers so..they keep insisting that it is public but we old rednecks down here know the GD Truth about it all. It was the craziest thing and we put down the phone and I told Sarah: You've just been discriminated against for being an Arab. Get used to it and be calm and ingratiating...people are so stupid (redacted). Americans are at the bottom of the food chain only they still believe they got something going up top. Man.

We are home as of 1 am July 24. EXACTLY one year after we arrived..to the day...from our terrible war adventure.
It was a long hard trip (redacted). Good and bad...mostly closure of some things. Letting go of the ideal of "expatriatism" for now. It has been my central motivation and I realize now that I must move forward and I must move in this direction and at this pace.
What to do. The Middle East is a downright catastrophe and as well, it is the will of the Lord. I know that but it doesn't necessarily make it any easier to watch from these plush and verdant sidelines in Bisbee AZ.
More to be revealed...I hope you are well and up to your usual practices of working hard. I've got so much to do in the next few weeks in order to get my middle one Sarah booked into a decent university. She was accepted at both the U of A and NAU so that is all fine and good. The U of A did pull a nasty trick on us though and asked for a domicile affidavit since they must have had dark suspicions about her citizenship. When I got the lady on the phone of course...she heard my voice and my double yas were typically Arizonianisms and she got Sarah accepted within minutes. Imagine that! Only moments before she was told that her file was under review and she wouldn't have an answer for at least two weeks. Huh? I told Sarah to get back on the phone and we'll speak to someone who understands what it means to request priveledged information prior to having the authority to do so (domicile statements). It's amazing what a True Blue Double Ya will get you nowdays at our lovely public universities like the University of Arizona which is actually a private institution but the bigots there just don't tell the taxpayers so..they keep insisting that it is public but we old rednecks down here know the GD Truth about it all. It was the craziest thing and we put down the phone and I told Sarah: You've just been discriminated against for being an Arab. Get used to it and be calm and ingratiating...people are so stupid (redacted). Americans are at the bottom of the food chain only they still believe they got something going up top. Man.

Contacted by CNN, a Hezbollah spokesman in Lebanon said he would not dignify the U.S. allegations with a response. And it remains unclear why Hezbollah's leadership would risk sending advisers to Iraq: American intelligence officers suspect Hezbollah -- which is indebted to Iran for decades of military and financial support -- had no choice.
Ahem. Well there you go. The truth is always in the last sentence in any article issuing out of the newsrooms of a MASSIVELY corrupt Western media.
The answer to it is pretty easy i.e. "Why would Hezbollah risk" such a thing. Indeed. When in fact Lebanon is up to its arse in its own alligators...why indeed.

I can tell you what may be the case. Every day of every week, young men seek to join the only Arab army to have ever beaten the US/Zionist threat. Beaten those scum not once but three times. And every day of every week of every year since Hezbollah liberated the south of its OWN country from the slimy hands of the Israelis, young men have been refused admission to this elite band of resistance fighters. It is no secret that part of the success of Hezbollah is in the fact that they only admit men to fight who demonstrate extreme dedication to Allah and to the Shia party (the elite of Islam). Therefore, there are many young men so hell bent on being "in" Hezbollah, there are many who literally impersonate Hezbollah fighters because they have been refused by same.
I ought to know...I've met a few and a couple of years ago, one man who was refused admission to this particularly blessed Islamic army...went to the home of a high ranking Hezbollah advisor and shot him in cold blood.
My guess is that this guy is either a Sunni or US plant...or most likely what you'd call:
A wannabe.
But there is no reason Nasrallah would send anyone to Iraq. That is ludicrous. It is as ludicrous as Israel insisting that Hezbollah kicked the butt of Israel using soldiers from Somalia and Iran last year and kept INFECTING the media with stories full of outright LIES. No problem, Israelis are liars but would they just do what they are supposed to and give the Palestinians their humanity back instead of insisting on stealing the humanity of others? Just for kicks.
