The Victory

The Victory is one of those amazing Suras that has found its way into the conscience of so many people in the world today...for better and for worse.

Some get really BOTHERED about it...especially when a muslim quotes it to them. That is because they don't like Allah, don't believe in the power of Allah. They do however confuse that principle with human power and superiority when they really shouldn't.

The statement in The Victory is:

"He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad) with Guidance and the Religion of Truth (Islam), that He may establish (make) it (Islam) superior over all religions. And All-Sufficient is Allaah as a Witness." [Quran 48:28]

Heh..and you know...Allah doesn't make mistakes. Allah just doesn't...it is all logical and worthwhile.

People...just seem to think...that the whole Islamization process ended with the end of the Ottoman Empire...because people tend to associate religion with ethnicity more often than not. I mean..afterall..we have the African American Church now. What on earth is that? It is what it is...it is an ethnically centered type of Christian worship just like the Ottoman Empire was primarily for Ottoman centered people.

The statement in The Victory wasn't that Allah would make the Arabs victorious or the Jews or any other particular type or color of nation....victorious.

Allah said he would establish ISLAM as superior. Not, something else. People really need to pay attention to those curious little details and grab hold. Because Allah states about "himself" that Allah doesn't change his mind, his promises, his methods or his decision about his own Creation.
