Oh here is another one of those darn lotus blossoms. All over the place.
Here, it is the gigantic lavender explosions of Henna, a dangerous type if there ever was! The dog picks her way very carefully through the most beautiful hoary weeds. No stranger to the thorny crowns! And I sneak up behind her to remind her of the bees, bzzz bzzz and she always gives me that look of hers.
Why master, do you torture me so?
And I say, "Because I can."

I found all the thread at Silliman's blog difficult to follow but these folks take themselves much to seriously. Will anyone die? They hang on each others words to bolster their own perspective. They shout, angry about some imagined slight, imagining that they know the heart of the opposition. Hell half the time I don't really know my own heart and never (well almost never) presume to know the other guys heart, and never through words alone.

I've worked hard to be able to run with the big boys. This woman and her vicious "pack of coyotes" have literally assassinated my character and Mr. Silliman condoned it and publicly went on record identifying me as a racist. That he is Jewish is no small detail and I am sure he (and others) are aware of the implications of his lack of objectivity in this matter. I wonder how he would like it if I went on record and mentioned the colonialism of the Israelis/Zionists and what this means in a serious matter in which he is supposedly defending the rights of ethnic/gender minorities to declare foul?
I wouldn't do such a thing. I would immediately be labelled an Anti Semite and as you know, my niece (your daughter) is half Jewish and that wouldn't be very good for me to feel that way about my own kith and kin. Not to mention our own very likely German Jewish background my dearest sister...that would be just crazy. My poem "How the Shombergs Lost Their 'erg'" illustrates this strange detail from our maternal grandmothers card reading past. I wish she was alive and could answer my questions about her likely Jewish ancestry. But as you know, we muslims believe everyone descends from Adam and Eve.
I will most likely Radi erase this post because it would be unethical for me to suggest that Mr. Silliman of Jewish descent is taking out his very own anti-muslimism on an individual who he has treated like the "token (insert ethnic variety here)" ever since I began openly participating on his blog.
It is perhaps wise to do just that. I have read through the blog - difficult as several people did not have the courage to stand behind or even with their words and removed their comments.
I have to laugh as these people do not understand the depth of our bicultural upbringing nor the open nature of our environment. I will go back again and see if I can get a more clear picture of the libel involved as I must not have gotten that part. Truthfully most of what was written sounded to me like mental masturbastion. Intended to make the author feel good rather than any actual plan or attempt to communicate.
