Vote Ron Paul in 2008

Facts of the matter are..the ONLY reason the ME is unstable or has EVER been unstable is the skewed support the US has provided Israel which needs to be turned off NOW. Not only that...Israel has a seriously outdated nuclear reactor that threatens the public health of everyone in the area and needs not only to be monitored but totally shut down as it was built prior to nuclear inspections anywhere. Forget the moral high or low ground on this one and remember just the common sense for a change.

Israel KNEW its time of enjoying US taxpayer money would come to an end. A person only has to have been reading the Israeli dailies for a few years to know that. Soft hearted Americans however seem to have a very hard time cutting this rogue nation off AS IF the money they are sending to Israel is going to feed the poor. It isn't. It is going towards genocide and all discussion of China's facilitation of genocide elsewhere (Darfur) is pointless when the US is financing one of the longest running ethnic cleansing operations in modern history. The history we all seem to think is the history where we know what we are doing (as opposed to those dim witted ancients who are no longer with us for some strange reason).

"This latest deal is so over the top that Israel is not opposing the $33 billion to Arab states because it gets $30 billion to maintain its military edge. En route to the Middle East this week, Rice denied that the military package was an attempt to buy allies with bombs. She also denied that the United States was relaxing its standards for democracy and human rights."

The fine print of this deal isn't even fine print. It's right there and any moron can read it and digest it. You don't have to be a practiced theological researcher like myself in order to get that much out of this heinous deal.

The reactor on a fault line:

"Considering its size, Israel is currently second in the world in terms of the presence of high-grade plutonium, behind Britain, and in sixth place in the world in terms of accumulated quantities of high-grade plutonium. The large quantity of nuclear waste collected in the last decades may cause a wide-scale disaster whose effect would reach way beyond the Negev region in case of a mishap or earthquake. "

"Should there be a nuclear leak, it may poison our water sources and soil for hundreds and thousands of years. The reactor is old and safety measures are unknown to us. Even a mini-Chernobyl disaster as a result of human error or the reactor’s age could make Israel unfit for human life."

But a report by the Economist Intelligence Unit said that “the weak response in the Middle East to pressures for democratization, as well as the experience with imported political change in Iraq, is making a mockery of George Bush’s ‘freedom’ agenda.” Reuters this week quoted Paul Salem, director of the Middle East Center at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, as saying that the arms deal meant Bush’s effort to spread democracy in the region was “more than dead.”

The 63 billion dollar sham...heh...in "Sham":
