I scared myself when I saw everything close up.
The country had no confidence, there were interlopers.
We wore the haircuts of the lonely.
Sometimes, the smiles were successful.
We wore slacks to the Big Apple as often as we could,
the machinery was soothing but the cost was very high.

ASA 800, hand held and mostly 1/15 second aperture using the "human tripod" position:
breath held, trigger happy.
...I forgot how much I love photography.
Thanks Radical Ann for making me try to get back to it...and thanks for that suggestion of standing on the scaffold to hit the Jackpot with the Apple Worshippers.
Oh, and fully manual on a great Nikon FM (film, not digital with that glorious natural grain you get with high rated ASA night shots) with Tima's great Sigma lens.
God that is a great lens. Not as good as your new macro but still, worth writing home about.
Damn...she never used it and let us have it. I feel so guilty.
