The trick to reading these articles is to read them beyond the second paragraph. In this article, we find the truth at about paragraph 7-8 and then, further in the article, it lapses into the typical "rewriting" of events that Israel engages in constantly. The JP by the way, is to news what FOX is to CNN. The JP reflects the fundamentalist views of Israeli citizens while the Ha'retz is the liberal POV. Here is paragraph 7 & 8 for your perusal:

All muslims know that whatever we get we always say "al'ham'du'lillah". The Israelis wouldn't know that because they do not fear God anymore. They are mostly athiests and POORLY informed "Jews" who have been lied to and think that they will attain heavenly divinity if they OCCUPY LAND which belongs to others via Zionist recruitment tactics which historically served the purpose of manning the Zionist army which now incites hatred of Jews worldwide and murder of innocent human beings who believe in the same God of the Jews.
