All In A Day's Work: Practical Theology

(Should all CATHOLIC US Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan be sent home immediately in concordance with the pope's views on "Holy War"? I'd say yesand those troops should immediately apply for a reprieve from service as it does not agree with the Catholic Church's mission on earth.)

The "POPE" must have missed this article as he was seeking to define JIHAD by, er, Midieval Standards which, I assure you, are quite different nowdays. We still had the Reign of Terror coming up and that crazy WWI and II. So, I say to the "POPE" try harder to find better substantive quotes and information, like this:

http://www.islamonline.net/English/News/2002-09/24/article42.shtml

“I know people in America think Muslims are terrorists, but for Rwandans they were our freedom fighters during the genocide,” said Jean Pierre Sagahutu, 37, a Tutsi who converted to Islam from Catholicism after his father and nine other members of his family were slaughtered, the paper reported.

“I wanted to hide in a church, but that was the worst place to go. Instead, a Muslim family took me. They saved my life.”

“The Catholic church has a problem after genocide,” said the Rev. Jean Bosco Ntagugire, who works at Kigali churches. “The trust has been broken. We can’t say, ‘Christians come back.’ We have to hope that happens when faith builds again.”

And let us not forget that the "POPE" doesn't like the idea of Turkey being included in his "Catholic" European Union.

This "POPE" ought to be impeached. Why not? Everyone else is getting impeached nowdays so why not this elected "official" who somehow or another has been confused with "God's Emmissary" on earth. Wonder how that happened!

Or why not just sanction all Catholics worldwide and run a campaign about how Catholics are basically terrorists and see how THEY like it.

That is, if they care. Most don't and I've felt for a very long time that the only reason the Catholic church still exists is that is represents so many people. The people it represents however, do not follow the doctrine and many of them practice birth control, abortion and even, gasp! kill for the US army as it helps the Zionists to maintain stolen ground, usurp neighboring countries and in general, debauch the Middle East with democrazy.

"Pope Benedict told Muslims on Saturday, September 16, he was sorry they had found his speech on Islam offensive, expressing his respect for their faith and hoping they would understand the "true sense" of his words."

Deconstruction of Apology Time:

"they had found (sic) it offensive"

Hmm. That doesn't sound like an apology, that sounds like the type of Therapeutic Dialogue a nurse has with a SICK indivudual!

No one is asking for his apology. Not that I know of. What we want is a new pope or rather, a fair election in which the people of the Pope elect the one they see fit to espouse political doctrines...like the Ayatollah System is. That is when enough people believe an Imam's opinion is viable enough to carry world opinion or at least, the opinion of the followers of Islam.

Now that would be some kind of Pope!
